Sugar Saboteurs

Why do people insist on trying to sabotage your dieting efforts?  I just had a coworker attempt to shove a doughnut down my throat.  It took me about 5 minutes of insisting that there was no way I was going to eat it for him to give up.  This makes no sense.  First, he KNOWS I am diabetic.  Second, he can obviously see how fat I am, and a doughnut is definitely something I do not need.  So why do people persist in this behavior?

Would they buy Whiskey shots for an alcoholic?

  2. Saboteurs would buy shots for an alcoholic. Same as they'll make a point of smoking around someone trying to quit. It's their nasty way of keeping someone else from accomplishing something they themselves cannot do. See them for the wreckers they are and keep them out of your life. And good luck!!!

  4. Yes... I have to agree with the Queen. If it's not just a case of them trying to be generous (which it doesn't sound like in this case) it's more than likely somebody a little bit upset about you trying to accomplish something they haven't been able to accomplish. Not really mean but kinda selfish I'd say.
